For his new project, " Pastel Painted Water Colors", Streetz Ishu worked to create a new sound that would build upon the success of his debut album, "The Early Fall". With heavy jazz and R&B influences, this new release looked to expand his fan base by offering a much more personal and introspective body of work, so they can not only get a glimpse of an artist, but of the man behind the microphone. He greatly exceeded this goal. Not only did he deliver the potent word play and soul stirring beats that his fans are accustomed to, but he was able to relay personal tales of joy and pain, heartbreak and happiness that are relatable to everyone. The album title is fitting, as he was able to vividly paint a portrait of his world that, not only fans of hip-hop, but fans of music will be able to appreciate for years to come.
