Illvis Freshly has officially found the funk, and molded it in to a bass heavy, hip hop monster. They’ve blended the classic sample heavy hip hop sound of the 90s with live rock n roll guitar, harmonica and scratching. The two MCs, Danimal House and Doc Zoo, bring high energy, raw, and unforgiving lyrics with complex flows and a wide variety of content and themes. The Funkee Wadd brings some hella correct cuts and is always bringing the flavour and keeping the party live. Groundskeeper Philly absolutely shreds the guitar, captivating the crowd with face melting riffs and his ridiculously entertaining antics. Illvis Freshly just released their first full length album “What Chu Know About Illvis?”, receiving huge support from the world­wide Hip Hop, Funk, and Electronic scenes. They have had the chance to share the stage with many incredible acts such as Souls Of Mischief, Neon Steve, Obie Trice, Skiitour, Stickybuds, Ghettosocks, Emotionz, Scott Jackson, Fresh Killz, and many more. The summer of 2015 has been a pivotal year for the boys, heading all across BC performing at amazing festivals such as Atmosphere Gathering, Shambhala Music Festival and local festivals, Rifflandia and Tall Tree Music Festival, where they were voted in by the community of Victoria and beyond to perform.
