Jim Allen was born and raised in small community in downstate Illinois. Jim has always loved traditonal Country Music. He Learned to play the guitar while serving in the U.S. Army. After his service to his country Jim started his own country music band. He appeared on television for the first time in Tacoma, Washington. Over his many years of preforming he has played shows all over the midwest, to include many stage shows and opry's. All of the original songs on this CD were written by Jim Allen and done especially for those of you who long for the disticntive sound of traditional country music.
