Hip-Hop Artist out of Canton, Ohio putting passion back in rap Dez Tha Reason, born Desmond Kriss Jackson II was born in the Northeast side of Canton, Ohio where the realities and ills of the world were very evident at an early age. At age 11, after his parents divorced he discovered poetry could ease the pain of a young life with confused direction. Eventually, years later that poetry turned into a deep passion for creative composition over beats. At age 15, Dez Tha Reason had started mixing his own music in his basement with only a computer, a cheap mic and barely any software. The harsh quality often made him a target for high school ridicule. However, the skill and talent was evident. Dez pushed on and at the age of 17 released his first album "RESURRECTION OF THE GAME", with local producer 314 and is now considered a local classic. Dez has since released 7 more albums "SAY MY NAME NOW" , "SANE/INSANITY". "STOCKHOLM SYNDROME" "REBEL MUSIC" " DEZ-IRE" “DTR” “IN SEARCH Of A BEAUTIFUL DEATH” with 3 more currently in the works. In 2008, Dez performed with the Unsigned Hype Tour for Source Magazine in San Diego, California. He has performed with artists such as The Game, Afro-man, Paul Wall, Tech N9ne, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Jim Jones, and several independent artists. Driven by his own motto and creation of B.O.S.S CODE, which can be heard lurking in his music as a war cry. B.O.S.S. CODE stands for Business Over Social Stress. Dez tha Reason wants his music to inspire the minds of the younger generation by showing them that they can accomplish more than what they are told they can achieve in life and gain a sense of self control and empowerment.
