In Nick Guy & the Cold-Case Affair, Nick Guy & Dr. DeSoto are hired to investigate a robbery that took place over 30 years ago. These kinds of “cold cases” present particular challenges, but they are solvable. Along the way in their investigation they cross paths with a retired cold-case detective who gives them helpful information as well as a useful example of a cold-case investigation as he is actively pursuing a cold-case of his own: the Resurrection of Jesus.
