My interest in music comes with RPM and Michael Jackson in the early 80s when I still had my three, four years old. Since my first cassette of the RPM up to now, I cannot stop collecting articles with phonograms, like CDs, DVD's and the recent Blu-Ray. I've never bought MP3 on the internet, but I'm thinking that this is an interesting market. So I’m about to release my recent EP, Up-Country in physical CD and MP3 on the Internet. Producing these latter materials is already a great victory. I speak of the EP's Singin’ For The Fools and the last, Up-Country. Devoting to popular music in Brazil today is a real stunt that requires willpower and persistence. The temptation to stray into fields of classical music, with the primary purpose of teaching, or in popular music, creating things purely commercial afflict any musician who is willing to talk on the "language of the people." Since I began studying piano in 1990, was interested in playing Blues and Jazz. I still have some scores of grooves in that style and I eventually quit my formal studies scholars in 1995, playing Paulistana No. 01 Claudio Santoro, music that I admired intensely. I never stopped studying my instruments or music theory. Nothing great, however, very sparse studies with teachers and more practical and intuitive. I was not, nor am I an autodidact or a full academic. Poetry followed with me since childhood too ...read leisure books, scientific (in the fields of law and philosophy) and periodic cultural or popular science often occurs when side of comics that were gradually abandoned and books of poetry, where the favorites are the Damned Romantics like Augusto dos Anjos and Concrete Modernists like Carlos Drummond. But surely no poet struck me as much as being complementary to his poetry with music. Cheers with no doubt to Renato Russo, Caetano, Milton, Cazuza, Roger Waters, Paul and John, Dylan and the rock groups of the 90s, like Pearl Jam, Sublime, Alice in Chains and Guns N 'Roses, whose anglican poetry is coated with emblematic issues of youth and human existence. I make music with an interest in interfering in the creative process of other musicians and inspire people to live as best as possible. That's my job, my vocation and my interest in contributing to my life and society that interferes with my journey. I serve on society back!
