Maame Joses is a singer songwriter with a deep and powerful voice who excells at singing soulful songs, straight from the heart. Whether she performs solo with her guitar or with her band, her music always surprises by its soulful originality and refreshing covers. She takes you into her imagination, her story. Raised in England, Ghana and The Netherlands, she enjoys a diverse range of musical influences. She started singing solo in a gospelchoir and listens to Ella Fitzgerald, Des'ree, Sting and Stevie Wonder. Living in Australia at the age of nineteen, she discovered the music of Tracey Chapman and began to interpret her songs.
