Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Taylor grew up in a musically-inclined family, singing harmonies in church, school choirs, show choirs, musicals and, let’s not forget, an at-home, karaoke-filled youth. She has also been enamored with the piano for as long as she can remember and took lessons throughout her formative years. Taylor began writing music when she earned a composer position for the sixth grade opera (a career highlight), and began writing her own music and lyrics as she entered into middle school, an emotional breeding ground for lovelorn pop ballads. Taylor’s passion for music remained a hobby as she went off to college at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where she minored in music (Vocal Performance) with a major in Telecommunications. The artist in her grew as she developed a passion for developing, writing and producing Television as her mainstay. Through it all, Taylor has kept music at the heart of who she is and where she resides. Who needs therapy when you can sit behind the piano to press and sing out every bleeding emotion? It is this seat that has kept her grounded and sane for most of her life. Through church choir and band, she has been able to use her gifts and talents to serve others as well. After some prodding and pushing from her dear friends, Taylor has recorded and released her first EP Album and is proud to finally share her heart with the world at large. Taylor resides in Los Angeles, California, but will always be "from Texas".
