Shannon Owens a.k.a. Lyriz. Was born to a single mother in Iowa City Iowa. The oldest of three, all with different fathers. Shannon took on the role as father figure and man of the house. Shannon had found hip hop music and loved it. But when he actually wrote his first rhyme, somthing clicked. This was what he was meant to do! So when he found himself on his own when he was 17, he made it his mission to really learn how to make music. Shannon moved to Quincy Illinois where he started, and continues his career in music. Shannon has collaborated with other artists on many musical projects, and has finished a few of his own. Continually proving himself to be one of the best. He has a strong work ethic.
