In America, at least for now, we are still able to worship as we please, say what we believe (within reason, that is) We are also at liberty to travel by, bus, boat, truck, train or fly like the eagle over the mountains and the plains from East to West, West to East from sea to shining sea. You don't have to explain or prove who you are--that is if you are in the USA for good and not for bad. I like it that way. That's the very reason I live in the good old United States of America. I was born in this great country. Millions of others have been welcomed to cross over our boarders and find the freedom that they never had before. Many have also soured as the eagle, not only as travelers but have also helped to weave the very fiber of this great nation. America has not always been free--and how well I know that. But things have changed and now all are free to try their hand at being a success. That includes me as well. LOL I am hoping this composition touches you as much as it touched me and caused me to think as I composed it. And as I close, please remember the ones have given their blood, sweat and tears so that all living within the shores of this great nation, named America, may be able to soar as the eagle, without incident , "From Maine to California" Your musical friend, Rick
