The projects inception coincided with her relocation to New York to pursue her doctorate at Rutgers University. Her music bloomed as she began to collaborate with different eclectic ensembles like Yo-Yo Mas Silk Road Ensemble and Arturo OFarrills Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra.
