简介
Shakerleg's second CD is bursting with new beats from the New York City underground performer! Recorded in subway stations as well as a few home recordings in his Brooklyn apartment. Every track showcases Shakerleg's stick free approach to drumming. His debut album "Handmade" contained very few computer tricks while "Everything Breaks" takes advantage of modern technology bringing you a hybrid "natural/affected" sound. You'll hear delays, gates, subtle underwater effects, and other enhancements. The album's opening track, however, contains on of the biggest natural reverbs ever recorded... courtesy of the L train at Union Square subway station in New York City. *Disclaimer* All tracks on "Everything Breaks" utilize no overdubbing techniques. It's all Shakerleg, by himself, hands only, one take, and completely improvised! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the rhythms inspired by the streets!
