Em nome da Rosa is a journey through history, through the course of mankind since ancient times. The songwriter blends the rose with its symbolism and its mystical, the Sephardic genre and poems of Antonio Lobo Antunes, Helia Correira, Jaime Rocha, José Jorge Letria and Manuela Espinho. The 12 songs on the album are part of his roots and ancestral origin themed Sephardic Songbook sung in Ladino, a mixture of Portuguese, Spanish and Hebrew.
