Shantytown is roots rock and roll, with edges of blues, funk, celtic and deep funk. Trying to Find the Door is a collection of tales told through passionate guitar licks, rollicking harmonica, and thoughtful engaging lyrics. Shantytown's music is on regular rotation at Bay Area radio stations, KFOG, KPOO, KPFA, KPFB, and KALX. Dusky River Night Band (track 1) was featured on KFOG's Local Scene CD, a compilation of northern California's premier artists.
