Machinery of Funk is Werewolf Torso's (DJ Fleg) debut album. This album is based off 3 years of work that has been whittled, edited and re-edited to its current form. Fleg takes influence from other Hip hop and Funk producers like Flying Lotus, Dam Funk, Onra, Dibiase, Wajeed, and J dilla. He is also influenced by Jazz musicians Theolonious Monk, Charles Mingus, John Coltrane and Horace Silver. His other Moniker "Fleg" is associated with his role in the B-boy and popping communities. His work in these dance communities includes high energy funk edits, original breaks, boogie and disco.
