Horace Dan D., a longtime runner of the Romanian electronic music scene signs Kuukou’s sixth release to date, putting forth two original pure techno cuts and one rework.

“Do You Feel It?” boasts a straightforward, blunt approach to the usual techno arrangement. HDD’s rave scene roots are instantly felt in this energetic cut, led by a dark vocal announcing the EP’s mantra itself - ‘This is the true techno. No more endless boring loops, no more endless warm up sounds”. Consisting simply of an immersive metallic lead with scintillating synths and a delayed, stripped down bassline, it bears a raw dancefloor appeal that’s bound to get feet and shoulders moving.

After his whopping KKU003 release, Martin Books returns to the label for remix duties, taking on the EP’s eponymous track. Toning down the vocal centerpiece, but keeping it as a subdued chop, he manages to morph the track into a completely new, equally hypnotising reconstruction.

Third in line is “3 AM”, another piece of mesmeric rawness. Injecting oomph with wavy and elastic synth bits, it makes for a perfect late night dance instigator.
