"Sermon To The Birds" was composed in 1986 to words by Giovanni Pascali (Original Title "La predica Agli Uccelli"). English translation is by John Gransden. In an unusual touch, the solo soprano part is sung using the English translation and the alto voice sings the original Italian text.
