Lazy Genius is a Detroit based underground hip-hop band consisting of six talented musicians, intent on creating quality hip-hop music. LG’s members are Jay-R(drums), Big Ju(guitars and keys), Alex (base), DJ Knowledge(turn tables), and M C’s J-Decade and Black Ty. The group comes together to produce an edgy, soulful, thought provoking sonic experience that leaves their listeners wanting more.

In 2005, after putting out a slew of underground singles and EP’s, the group’s debut album “UNRELEASED” was released. Since then the band has been touring and promoting their LP and has plans to record a live album in late 2006.
