"Aurora" is a lyrical reaction to the movie shooting in Aurora, CO on 20 July 2012. Hollie wrote the song because she was upset when this happened and she felt the world was not safe anymore. The shooting was a very tragic event for the people of Colorado, but made a strong sadness for the people watching the news reports all over the country.
