The Vine Band is a modern praise and worship band based in Hong Kong, China. Led by worship leader, Tom Read, The Vine Band has been pioneering a new sound of worship in Hong Kong, and throughout Asia. The band’s mission is to equip the next generation of worshippers in Asia, to rise up and find their voice; to be released into a new freedom and passion in worship. Over the last decade, The Vine Band has had the privilege of leading people into worship all across Asia including: China, The Philippines, and Singapore. In 2006, The Vine Band released its debut live worship album called 'Who May Ascend? – Live worship from Hong Kong' that features 10 original songs written by the band. The album was recorded and produced by Peter Wallis, from Hillsong Church, Sydney (For All You’ve Done, Hope, God He Reigns). It received wide international critical acclaim.
