This CD was made from songs that I had written over the years as my boys were growing up. As they learned to play different instruments, I taught them using songs that I was in the process of writing; a couple were written in the studio. I have a checkered past that started off with my becoming an alcoholic at the age of thirteen. As you can imagine, things got worse from there. By the time I was in my mid twenties I had been given "less than a year to live" by several doctors and had fully immersed myself in any religion I could find. I delved into everything but His Word, from Satanism to shamanism, I was thirsting for something supernatural, and fulfilling. By the Fall of 1997 I had reached the end of my rope. In spite multiple failed suicide attempts (the way my father died), I was still alive, but a dead man on the inside. I got married and gave my life to the Lord in 1998. Within three years of being saved, my wife and I were challenged with some questions about the Sabbath and the Festivals. In an attempt to "correct" the person who challenged us, we became Torah observant followers of Yeshua, Jesus. These songs tell the story of that journey, and the scriptures that have inspired us as a family to walk like Messiah walked (1 John 2:6). In HIm, Baruch HaShem!
