简介
Hello friends and visitors! My name is Joel Warren. As a dedicated 11 year veteran first grade teacher in the Mendon-Upton Regional School District, I have combined my love of teaching with my love for making music to motivate my students to be the best they can be. The focus of my teaching has been to help and encourage children to dig deep within and stay strong by finding their inner strength and character. As a result, I have seen my students achieve academically and confidently, both inside and outside the classroom. Better yet, I have seen them WANT to achieve! Along with teaching, my other passion is music which I include as part of my teaching style. I love to sing, write music, play guitar, and perform. During the course of the past 11 years, I have been introducing my music, both in the classroom and in the community, as a teaching aid for my students. My approach is to combine every child’s natural love of music with a consistent and powerful message of encouragement and strong character. The message is simple: believe in yourself and you can reach your inner dreams and potential. My daily interactions with the kids inspired me to release my first CD of kids songs, entitled ‘Canwilldo’, in 2002. The music on ‘Canwilldo’ caters to kids in ages ranging from Pre-K to 2nd grade, and features songs ranging from motivational themes to basic positive social etiquette. ‘Canwilldo’ was an extremely challenging CD because I had to fund and release it on my own. Despite the challenge, it was an exhilarating and uplifting learning experience, and after all was said and done, I had sold over 800 CDs - which continue to sell to this day! The success of ‘Canwilldo’ kept me motivated to record another CD, entitled “What I Want To Be”. The music on this CD encompasses a more consistent theme: “Believe in the power of I CAN!” My good friends at ‘Snip-its’, a children’s hair salon in Millbury, Mass., agreed to sponsor this CD. The music on this new CD exhibits a growth, power and energy that EVERYONE can relate to and enjoy, whether children or adults! Enjoy a true "rock n roll" CD with some ooomph!! ~Joel
