简介
IMMUNE SYSTEM is an industrial rock juggernaut and the harbinger of a majestic New World Order. Since its inception, IMMUNE SYSTEM has defied the rigid confines of the tired \"industrial scene,\" leaving a trail of trendsters, hipsters and poseurs in its wake. \"Phallusuberalles\" is the follow up to the band\'s debut release, \"Weltanschauung,\" which garnered strong internet radio play and gained fans from across the globe. \"Phallusuberalles\" expands on IMMUNE SYSTEM\'s patented industrial stomp that has helped make the band an underground phenomenon, but it also presents several slick, sadistic dance tracks. But a word of warning: \"Phallusuberalles\" is a powerful and volatile musical document. It has been known to cause other cds in the vicinity to actually close their holes in shame and refuse to play. Please handle this recording with care. REVIEW: \"Phallusϋberalles is the second album from the industrial project Immune System, following their debut Weltanschauung. Immune System is a pretty obscure project, and I don’t have a lot of information to hand, but I do know they’ve been booted off MySpace a couple of times, which is generally a sign of someone doing something pretty interesting. This is industrial metal constructed to the specifications laid out in the late 80s / early 90s blueprint of such groups as Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Foetus, Pigface etc. Fortunately, Immune System have appointed themselves keepers of the holy flame. Guitars, sirens, massive beats, Joy Division samples, funky basslines and lashings of noise. \"Bornless One\" has lyrics borrowed from W.B. Yeats and Aleister Crowley, and I\'m not sure which one would be more horrified to see the company he’s keeping. The final track, ‘Posttard’, is a monstrously noisy two-minute workout, followed by several minutes of silence and a Satanic ritual. I\'m listening to this alone in a deserted house at 2.30 in the afternoon, and it just makes me want to be out getting drunk in a dingy club surrounded by rubber-clad fetish sluts at 2.30 in the morning! I bet Immune System would be good to see live, and in fact they’re on tour at the moment, so this may not be an impossible dream. In the meantime, pick up Phallusϋberalles and relive your misspent youth. Or if you happen to still be young, pick up this album and learn to misspend your youth properly. Go on, get off the internet and go out dancing, you saddo!\" -- Simon Collins \"This second self-released album from Welsh industrial metal project Immune System is a retro-rockin’ dancefloor riot. Remember Ministry and Skinny Puppy? Or Nine Inch Nails, when they were actually fun? It’s kinda like that. Immune System . . . are making loud, enjoyable music that you can dance to, and there are plenty of bands with recording deals who haven’t added that much to the sum of human happiness.\" Zero Tolerance Magazine -- Issue 21 \"Immune System plays like American dance maestro BT if he were being electrocuted in a lightless dungeon\". -- North Wales Pioneer, David Waddington
