The Manhattan Dolls are a swing/jazz female vocal group based out of New York City with the sound and feel of the Andrews Sisters. Started by former USO Girls, these girls have performed all over the world in parades, national television, air shows, veterans hospitals, hangar dances, award ceremonies and jazz and supper clubs. Stemming from the idea of the USO boosting morale and the spirit of the troops, they have blossomed into a group that also performs difficult jazz pieces with big bands and small combos alike. By their one year anniversary in October 2010, they will have performed in 10 states and internationally in The United Kingdom.
