Brain Candy is the confection of world-renowned vocalist Carter Black and multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Funky Ike. When asked to describe their music Carter and Ike both agree: it’s hard to put it in a box. “We just write songs we strongly believe in,“ Carter says, “songs that come from deep inside. When I sing lyrics, they come from real life experiences. I sing about girls and relationships I have personally known.
