«Trust» appears also on the Alpinechic label like the actual and much praised Popshop album «New Bones». It consists many of complex electronic pop songs with playful club appeal. Maya Reale aka Stella-Loreen mixes spoken-word-themes in a way like Anne Clark did with a personal and dynamic vocal style in several layers. This fits perfectly into the metaphorical, thoughtfully and also progressive lyrics by Popshop. For this co-operation, the best twelve songs of the last three years were chosen including a remix by Niels Jensen from Berne, who already did several releases as part of «Dialogue» on international labels such as Morris Audio, Stattmusik, Trapez and Thinner. «Trust» is in a way a very accessible album. On the other hand it has a constant tension because of the different sounds and refined Popshop arrangements which have a hidden deepness and surprising idioms.
