The Sun broke inside us EP: This EP activates the 2nd release for Singularity Recordings. The inevitable joining of the Dark Brothers, Casual Violence and Voidloss was a long time coming, and the product is something truly crushing and epic. The Voidloss pieces on this EP set the mood for a soliloquy spoken after the destruction of the world. Innovative beats, crushing dark bass, soaring leads and textural atmospherics provide the soundtrack to an ,as yet unmade, epic dark movie. Artistic and yet totally viable as workouts for the dancefloor. The Casual Violence works are more tender, more fragile, but still convey the feeling of defeat, and shattered hopes of a survivor of the apocalypse. Mechanised machine percussion, eerie vocals, dark textures, sweeping sorrowful pads all combining to add further credence to the epic soundtrack of this EP. All tracks are highly polished productions meeting with the labels ethic of high production values and are enhanced with additional mastering by Black Monolith Studios, adding extra punch and fullness.
