ZO was born Alphonso Johnson in Petersburg VA Jan 2, 1992 to a young single mother. With his mother working long hard hours to support her son and daughter. ZO spent a lot of time in Ettrick VA at his Grandparents house. Feeling the pressure of being the man in the house ZO started hustling in the first grade selling glue book marks. Glue book marks turned into candy candy turned into condoms and cds which eventually turned into drugs at the age of twelve. All tho a star athlete in basketball and football ZO loved sports but loved money even more. In the 8th grade ZO got kicked out of school for selling his pills he got for his leg he broke in a football game. ZO showed his will to never quit by recovering from his injury in time to play football his 9th grade year. A gifted athlete his peers didn't know ZO had another talent until the release of his groups first mixtape Ran$om Sh*t Volume 1. Which him and his crew hustled in school until the school made them stop.The songs in Mud2Stars are some of his experiences from his long hard road thru Hell being 1 of 6 still on the streets out of once a 50 strong click and jumping state to state its no wounder why this young man has so much to say.
