all songs on this cd, with exception of the song "georgia grind" was recorded in Atlanta Ga.1964.others , 1968 and 69 new york city.my career began in Jacksonville Florida, singing under street lights in parks, talent shows etc.until one day i was ask by this guy Mr.Will Davis to go on tour, to leave Florida and head for Atlanta.my band was called"the rocking tonics",and man we were fired up and ready to go.once in Atlanta my career took off,and i was signed too a recording contract along with Arthur conelly and the corvetts and a group called the wallice brothers.thats when me and the band recorded for the first time.then came the tours city to city,town to town with artist like jackie wilson,the Alanta Tams,james brown, Joe Tex,Sam and Dave,Jimi Hendrix,and Lee Moses etc.so many.and these are some of the songs that i have written doing my travels through this life of music.i hope that you like them,please enjoy, thank you very much.hermon hitson
