OMICIDA are new modern-day thrash metal titans, as they wear their influences on the sleeves while adding their own unique flare with their extreme precision and break-neck, dual-guitar shredding. The band, founded by ex-White Wizzard member Giovanni Durst (drums), doesn’t try and re-invent the wheel, they just add some new dynamics to it. OMICIDA delivers a frenetic and dizzying array of speed and technicality, while maintaining a crushing groove with melodic hooks. The new wave of thrash has arrived and the future is looking bright. The band first Ep "Certain Death" features Joseph Michael vocals. He later was replaced by Toronto based singer Giovanni Barbieri.
