PYRX has created a unique style of music that offers high energy, as well as a new wave of mainstream talent. Their sound has been described as a genre-blending, irie mix of Reggae, Hip-hop. The PYRX band is: Blaze 1 (lead vocals), ChazZy ChazZ (guitar/vocals), Dave (bass/vocals), and Timmy (drums). Since their formation PYRX has been relentlessly touring the United States, Europe, and Canada. This stead-forth attitude has steadily increased both PYRX's venue size, and fan base at an exceptional rate. In early 2008, PYRX was nominated for... and won the "Best New/Underground Artist of the Year" award from HIGHTIMES MAGAZINE. The results of this achievement blessed the band with consistent touring across the U.S. and Canada, ending the year touring California with Reggae legend Anthony B. In March of 2009, PYRX released a 5 track EP for their third album entitled: "EVIDENCE OF SOUND". That same month HIGHTIMES MAGAZINE dubbed PYRX "The Top Reggae, Hip-hop Band" -March issue 2009. April 2009 brought THE WEST COAST HUSTLE TOUR with Collie Buddz. 19 shows in 21 days, all the way up the West Coast, from San Diego to Seattle. In September they were honored to perform on the main stage at REGGAE RISING. Then, two weeks later, to perform a headlining set at SEATTLE HEMPFEST! So, what's next for PYRX? Only time will tell...
