Navid Nikbakht and Kevin Teel met in Berklee College of Music in the mid 90’s and worked together as an acoustic duo in Boston and London before Teel relocated to Nashville, Tennessee In the years following, Teel started working as a session player in Nashville and has worked with many artists such as Cerys Matthews, Jools Holland and his Big Band, Matthew Ryan, Holly Williams, Bobby Bare JR, Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals) etc. Navid Nikbakht’s previous work includes the original soundtrack to the documentary Zan (2005) and the instrumental collaboration with renowned Canadian guitarist Dave Martone called Synesthesia released in 2001 Navid Nikbakht: Acoustic and Electric Guitars.
