Born Konstantinos Theodorou (24/04/1986) better known by his stage name Stony Boy is a hip hop artist and producer of Swazi, Greek Cypriot decent. Stony was raised by his grandma in a kingdom located in Southern Africa called Swaziland. At the age of 16 He developed a hobby of expressing his feelings through writing rhymes. When stony turned 18 he meet a friend at school who did the same, they teamed up and recorded a demo song. Without any promotion due to lack of funds the song remained a neighbourhood hit. As Things never worked out for them and the time had come for him to go reunite with his father and seek for better life opportunities in the island of Cyprus. After Spending 19years in Africa and failing to stay out of trouble, Stony then began a new life working as a waiter for 2years then did his national service in the army. One thing Stony had never changed was writing songs expressing what he felt and saw in todays world.He had no knowledge of music and found it hard recording any material, that's when he decided to move to the United Kingdom where his mom lived to further his career. Aged 22 In the united kingdom Stony took a music production course,learned a bit more about music. Then he had to drop out because he could not afford it as he had to work and pay bills for his living. When he settled in the United Kingdom he then worked and started recording songs.His first single won club idol 2009 competetion in Harlow Essex. His been performing in the underground scene ever since. Stony released his first mixtape called stepping forward hoisted by award SEA winner DJ AMES in 2011. The mixtape had a positive respond receiving more than 9000 downloads in the first month, one of the songs was also broadcasted on BBC introducing Essex. In 2012 he released an EP called Shine Hard via well known mixtape sites on the net and won star search 2012 landing him a 1 year management deal. Stony is know working on his new project called Big bad world due release this year.
