||:: Luvydub Productions presents C-Love ::|| C. Love, Curt Cunningham, was intimately introduced to songwriting and creating loving music at a very early age. Born into a family where music accompanied every family occasion, it became an essential ingredient to happy living. His father, Clyne Cunningham Sr., a songwriter and musician, did not hesitate to nurture the natural musical talent he saw in his own children. He formed a recording band with C. Love and his two siblings while they were still very young and impressionable. At the precious ages of four, six, and two, C. Love and his two siblings recorded their first song in the studio. C. Love sang background and played light percussion. Clyne Sr. wrote the music and played the piano and bass. Over time, they recorded numerous songs and as a result music became a part of C. Love’s eternal existence. Inspired by his father’s love, passion and appreciation for all music, C. Love has grown into a musical genius who embodies all that music has to offer the world. His songs tell stories through the eyes of truth using a simple yet profound fusion of honesty, observation, reflection and love. C. Love’s professional musical career has been one of quiet yet consistent and resonating success. In 1993, C. Love (then Charms), Clynetell - C. Love’s older brother (then Composer Clyne), and Shala-Shakir (then Shamega) formed a hip hop group called the Natural Mystics. In 1995 and 1996 Natural Mystic’s had two singles entitled “It’s So” and “How it Go”. The singles held all the ingredients for success and sold around the world; namely France, England, and Japan. C. Love married in 1999. In 2001, C. Love received a degree in Fine Arts, with a concentration in painting, from the University of Maryland at Collage Park. In 2003 C. Love picked up a guitar from a close friend and never put it down. In 2006, C. Love’s career took another positive turn destined to help him gain international acclaim with the creation of Luvydub productions. Luvydub productions is a collaborative group of producers, singers and songwriters that come together to make good, positive music that keeps you moving and thinking. Started by Eric “E-Dub” Wheeler and C. Love, Luvydub productions is a self contained marriage made with unlimited potential. E-Dub is a professional bass jazz musician, composer and producer with his masters in music from Howard University; and C. Love is a songwriter, emcee, producer, musician and a visual artist with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Maryland at College Park. From the creation of Luvydub Productions comes C. Love’s premiere solo recording project and freshman album, Can’t Hold Me Down, a collection of heartfelt, soul-driven songs representing the many experiences of the human journey through life. Each entry radiates a sentiment and serves as a confirmation of the myriad human emotions felt by everyone. Whether it is love, happiness, and pride; or jealousy, resentment, and frustration, each song ignites an emotion leaving each listening mind, heart, and spirit with a sense of spiritual satisfaction and lyrical fulfillment. “It’s feel good music!
