简介
This is a collection of songs that takes you on a short trip. No amount of time or mischief was spared to produce this 12-song satire of 1970s rock. It features lots of juicy guitars, big drums, accordion, horns, farm animals, running water, chain saw and a coffin door being slammed. Careening above it all is the whispering, warbling, crooning and barking voice of the Roadmaster, Kevin Bowman. Recorded in Tucson, Arizona by Phil Stevens on the Crash Landing Label, Stevens contributes musical as well as production skills using violin, viola, keyboards, resonator and lap steel guitar. Also along for the ride are guitarist Don Reeve, bassist Gary Wagner and drummer Ernie Mendoza. The album also features the talents of Amo Chip Dabney on saxophone, Matt Finstrom on percussion and Rob “Ballast Lips” Boone on trombone. Kevin Pakulis plays chicken pickin’ guitar on “The Drive”. This record is dedicated to the memory of Moonbeam Harry. Now there’s a fish!
