Schooled richly in Roots Reggae, Soul and Jazz, Will's bass additions to this album are Stellar! No Roof! Ben Teters, commuting from Brooklyn, New York brings the finest selection of push and pull in his steady Roots Rocker Beats. His kit playing as well as his additions on percussion drive the back beat of this Album into full Sync and Entrainment! Max Ribner brought his epic talents to the table, creating smooth horn fills, overlays and epically stunning solos. Adding sweetly to the sonic story of the songs, Max is featured on 'Pure Seed - Ix Maize', 'Rock the Rhythm' and 'Spirit Song'. And is also another Berklee graduate ;) The title track 'Good Way' features the most awe inspiring vocal performance. Arranged and sung by veteran performer and producer Matthew Flowers. He empowers this song with ease, adding his vocals in perfect support of Sara Tone's emotional performance and message. To add one more Berklee Graduate to the mix, the last track 'Mālama 'Āina' Features Samantha Black with her enchanting yet vulnerable Cello offering. Final Vocal Tracking, Engineering and Final Mix were blessed up by the creative genius of Joe Hall at Camp Creek Records. Currently uprooting his studio in Portland, OR, settling gracefully in Los Angeles, CA. His mix truly highlights the bigger story of the album, with high quality Sonic Stewarding at every measure. The Final Master was done at Specialized Mastering outside of Portland by Dana White. Dana's contribution really opened up the sound at super subtle levels, a gift beyond words.
