简介
Recorded across the spring and summer of 2011, Heartbreaker first started to take shape as early as late 2009. Originally being called Jezzebelle, and being slated as a full album release, the eventual break up of the band killed the idea of recording a new full length all together. But in early 2011, as The Terribles were reforming, one of the first things they decided to do was revisit the idea of recording a new album. It was during these early practice sessions that Jezzebelle first became an EP, and later was renamed to Heartbreaker. Though Heartbreaker only truly features one entirely new song, all of the material is previously unrecorded. Shifting from a purposely lo-fi sound this time around, the band ended up recording at Milk Boy studios, with Cody Cichowski as their engineer. This release also marks the first self produced record, with Bon and Bryan taking over most the producing credits.
