For more than ten years, Robbie Reverb has been a studio rat, working on other artists’ productions; it wasn’t until 2005 that he got a serious itch to produce music for his own enjoyment. In 2006 he completed his debut LP, “Expletive Deleted,” an eclectic mix of mad beats, other-worldly textures, wild synthetics, psychedelic guitars, funky bass lines and a dash of genre-cuisinarting. In January 2007, he won the 'Best Electronic Rock' award at the Inland Empire Music Awards. In 2008, he was nominated for the same award at the the Inland Empire Awards and the Orange County Music Awards. With his second full-length album "The Last Unagi," (2012) Robbie Reverb continues to play with genres, beats, textures and riffs. The resulting collection ranges from funky and futuristic to groove-driven, beat-heavy electronica with an edge. Sophisticated and catchy, cinematic, glitchadelic and eminently intriguing.
