Mari has written more than 200 songs and has released a bunch of original albums. Her first album "Rose" was produced by Ryuichi Sakamoto (Last Emperor) who was a member of the legendary Japanese techno group "Yellow Magic Orchestra" In 1999, she released her first English album "No Limit" and was nominated for the Los Angeles Music Awards' Best Pop Artist category. Currently, she is finishing up her upcoming album which includes the members of John Mayer band.
