This is a single from Holman's new Cd, recorded at the age of 21, featuring jazz great Richie Cole .Bassist Brian Sandstrom and drummer Rick Shandling are a great team, the two of them create a rich rhythmic mossaic for Holman to lay comfortably upon and be himself.

Holman graduated from the University of Pittsburgh's jazz studies program under the tutelage of Jazz Messenger alums Nathan Davis and Leon Dorsey as well as Frank Cunimondo with a concetration in advanced theory and composition in 2010. While at university, Jim has performed in Chicago and Pittsburgh with outstanding jazz icons such as Ira Sullivan, Mark Whitfield, Claudio Roditi, Donald Harrison, Antonio Hart, Jimmy Owens, Abe Laboriel, Roger Humphries, Cecil Bridgewater, Ron Affif, Yotam Siberstein, Alexander King, and John moulder.
