Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Tim’s performance career started with touring theatrical productions of “The Fantasticks” and “Godspell” during his teens. He studied theatre and music at the State University of New York at Fredonia and graduated in 1981. Tim then spent the next 18 years as a pivotal player in the Western New York music scene. A four time winner of the Buffalo Music Award for best solo artist, and a winner many times as a member of various bands, Tim has performed well over 3,000 shows for audiences numbering 10 to 10,000. Tim also spent several years nurturing the original music scene in Western New York by establishing T’s Music Management and The Lab Recording Facility. He produced and/or engineered over 50 recording projects for a variety of acts and held the position of president of the Buffalo Music Collective before “semi-retiring” from the industry and relocating to northern Virginia in 1999. After settling in northern Virginia, Tim focused his efforts on writing, recording and promoting his own songs. Tim is currently working under publishing contracts with Emstone Publishing and McClure & Trowbridge Publishing. In 2003, Tim independently released the acclaimed CD, “Beyond Your Back Door”. Currently, Tim performs in Virginia, Maryland, DC and occasionally back in NY. He is also writing new material for a possible CD release in 2008. Tim is able to adapt to the most diverse of audiences and appeal to many different musical tastes with his repertoire of over 750 songs which he is constantly supplementing with new material.
