简介
"Adios... Putas Madres" is a live album recorded during MINISTRY's final world tour in 2008. It features performances from Serbia, Warsaw, Los Angeles, Chicago, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovenia. As progenies of thumping, seminal industrial metal whose legacy can still be heard ringing loudly in everything from RAMMSTEIN to RED HARVEST, it's hard to believe that this is MINISTRY's swansong, their last album release, but one thing is for sure - they are certainly going out in style. When MINISTRY pull out the big guns it is tantamount to a revelation. The world needs bands like this to be a razor sharp thorn in the side of conservatism, and MINISTRY are definitely one of the few bands who truly exuded the kind of punk ethic that's bandied about by so many but actually lived by so few. Good bye MINISTRY! So, industrial metal's methuselah is finally calling it quits?... And not a moment too soon, considering how dull his last studio album was. Besides, decades of hard, illegal drugs must have taken their toll on this demented little leather-clad neo-Beatnik. I guess he finally figured out that his discography is rich enough to provide him with enough royalties for at least another ten years of making his local drug-dealers rich. So what will he do with himself? He is over 50 years old, it's not as if he'll try to become an Olympic swimmer. Perhaps he'll emigrate to Venezuela, where he can get a steady supply of free koka leaves from his psychopathic friend and fellow koka-sniffer, Hugo Chavez. Either way, I wish him luck. With a brain that damaged, he'll need it!
