Jimmy Dore is the star of several Comedy Central specials, host of "The Jimmy Dore Show", and a writer–performer for the Off-Broadway hit "The Marijuana -Logues". His latest effort "CITIZEN JIMMY", a one-hour Comedy Central Special currently airing, was chosen Best Of 2008 by iTunes, and was named one the Top 5 Comedy DVDs of 2008 by "Punchline Magazine".

In June 2009 he began producing "The Jimmy Dore Show" which is an irreverent and humorous take on today’s headlines and hypocrites. The program skewers politicians as well as the corporate mouthpieces which make up today’s mainstream “news media.” Each and every week, "The Jimmy Dore Show" provides the unvarnished truth with a twist of funny. You can hear the show on Pacifica Radio and airs on KPFK 90.7 in Los Angeles weekly. (You can also find it on iTunes!)

Dore hosts his own webseries on The Young Turks Network and produces his live show "Left, Right and Ridiculous" that highlights the absurdity of modern politics. Jimmy has made many appearances on late-night television shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Late Show on CBS, and NBC's Late Friday. He has also performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival, the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival Aspen, CO, The Melboure Comedy Festival in Australia, The Amsterdam Comedy Festival, and for U.S. troops in Afghanistan. He also appears regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles, California.
