About Maycol Benett: Maycol Benett is a recording artist, producer, remixer, live performer and DJ. At the early age of 11 years old he began to acquaint himself with the vibes and sounds of Electronic music by attending random music events in Bogota, Colombia (his native city). By the age of 14 he had moved to Florida where he started developing his passion for Electronic music. His career as DJ/Producer officially started in 2008, while playing gigs at small venues and learning new mixing techniques from his friend Patrick Henry. The following year Maycol created his own sounds and by mid-2009 he becomes a resident DJ at "Jackson's" night Club in Tampa, FL. He is currently playing every weekend at clubs and parties, while pursuing a degree in music production and technology. He specialises in tech-house, house and techno and is considered one of the best local DJ's in the Tampa and vicinity Area.
