简介
"…we'd been up for three days straight; past the boundaries of reason, benzedrine and bourbon…sandra screaming voodoo with ed smashing empty bottle of JD on his guitar…wild!! …that and the meanest sax I ever heard; I swear Al had the devil inside him that night…and that was me behind the roadhouse…" Following the split of Glasgow's self styled supergroup 'The Heartbeats' in the late eighties, Wily Bo Walker moved to London to form The Baddies (the original and best!) along with E D Brayshaw and other fine London based musicians. Signed to Art Council funded Core Records they released two albums, 'Dance' and 'Coyote Moon' and two singles, 'Hearts On Fire' and 'Let yourself Go' The albums charted internationally and were mainstay plays on college radio in the States. 'Dance' stayed in the Canadian Indie charts for many weeks with 'Hearts on Fire', Red Jacket & Jeans', Let Yourself Go' and 'Dance' being highly requested on radio. The Baddies album 'Dance' was produced by Rory Gallagher's engineer, John MacGowan and mastered at Abbey Road Studios. The band split in the late nineties, however, renewed interest in Wily Bo Walker & The Baddies resulted in Flaming Hearts Records picking up their previous releases and putting out a compilation album 'Dancing Under the Coyote Moon…' which is available on iTunes, Amazon and all good online stores.
