Koltdown is an alternative metal band with some years of been started in La Paz, South Baja, Mexico. The members decided to move to Mexico City, looking for better chances of growing as band. The project was kept alive only by both guitarists, Mike Porta and Héctor Trasviña, who eventually found and reclute new members in Mexico City. Koltdown has played live in South Baja, including Los Cabos. They´ve also played in many different places of Mexico City like Circo Volador, where some bands like Arch Enemy and Lamb of God have also been there. Their first album is called "Truth Becomes", it has been released in October of 2010, it has 12 songs that reflects musical influences of each member of the band. Each song gives different colors and emotions wich combined, they fully described Koltdown's proposal. Recently, Rolling Stone Magazine in Mexico made a review of Truth Becomes in march 2011 edition, remarking the rudeness of vocals and guitar riffs, and the solid bass and drums arrangements.
