Tripper Records was established in July, 2006. We are the only one of the independent labels in Taiwan to cultivate LOCAL artists and offer them production environment for concentrating attention on their tracks. Our mission is to put out the discernible music of artists and has commitment to different style electronic/dance music that appeal to increasingly sizable audience. Artists:Zephec, Kolette Zephec started his music career as a drummer in Taiwan. As the digital music revolution spreads globally, Zephec soon jumped on the bandwagon and began making his own sound under the alias “ZC“ who was nominated in Fnac Attention Talent in 2003. The album “We Will Still Repeat Today“ - is the debut release of both Zephec and the label – Tripper Records. This 8 tracks album that is based on the concept of micro house progresses at a slow but nice pace, giving people enough warmth to feel and enough space to think. The first track “Role Play“ - creates a mysterious atmosphere, leading the way with it’s ambient bell sound to a space journey. Right after is “Forge Ahead“ - a subtle house track. It’s just like there’s something you could feel from the French duo “ AIR“s work that puts you in a relaxing mood, a relief from pressure. Following that is a lovely deep house tune, with Zephec’s trademark warm melody coming along. “A House is A house is A House“ - is the tune that gives you the bittersweet feeling while delivering a good vibe for you either to chill or to dance. “Why Don’t We“ - different from other tracks in the album, is a dark house tune and aims to make you dance. The distortion guitar riff and the bass line creates a harder and tense feeling like a dark chase at night. “Imagine Love“ - is the only tune in the album with vocal singing the album title “We will still repeat today“. Zephec once again creates a warm and deep atmosphere which would take you to a subconscious level with it’s haunting vocal. Generally speaking, the whole album is like a space journey that leads you all the way through all the bad time you had. You can feel the warm emotion under the layered-and-layered synth and beat so that still find there’s some space for you to lie down and to release yourself.
