Skylar is an instinctive Nashville-based storyteller through her unforgettable hooks and expressive lyrics, all the while unapologetically wearing her heart on her sleeve. A lead voice in the pop scene, Skylar uses her sharp perfect-pitch ear to create clever melodic phrases and to elevate her sound. Skylar's writing has been featured by supporters such as Rolling Stone India, Nashville’s YoCo Nashville on 96.7FM, and ASCAP’s Writers Showcase. In 2023, Skylar was a Top 25 finalist in the American Songwriting Competition for her song "Modern Art" and a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition for her track "Too Good to Be You." As well as having a handful of cuts and singles under her belt, her latest song “Don’t Want a Body” has gained traction on Instagram Reels with over 3 million views.
