From searching for an identity as a youth, to helping show youth their identity in Christ as an adult, A.Mincey provides a portrait of Gods love and grace through sharing his experiences and his love for God in his music. Born and raised by his mother in Jacksonville, FL, A.Mincey has seen, learned, and lives with a clear image of Gods sufficiency and love in action, throughout this life. Although, he had been in the church for all of his life, he struggled to fully commit to the God he had always heard of but never truly had a relationship with. After living many of his teenage years in rebellion to what he knew God was calling him to, at the age of 16 during a youth camp he attended through his church, he committed his life to building a relationship with Christ. A.Mincey’ passion for music started as a hobby to express his frustrations and how he was feeling throughout his teenage life. However, it was during his years in High School while battling other kids in his classes, and performing in talent shows that his hobby turned into a ministry and the ministry into a call. After releasing an EP album titled “The Unrequested” in 2007, A.Mincey has grown in his gifts and has matured as a believer in Christ. In 2009 he graduated from Word of Faith Bible Training Center and immediately went into full time ministry as his church Jr. High youth minister. A.Mincey has a heart for the lost and a sincere desire to take Christ to the ends of the Earth. With much work and prayer, A.Mincey is soon to release a new album entitled “Urban Christian,” with the prayer that God is glorified, believers encouraged, and the world sees the lights.
