简介
This Texas based one-man-band pulls influences from a wide range of styles. Days of Bliss is a nostalgic album ranging from mellow blues to hard rock, combing acoustic and electric guitar sounds. In the past ten years, Levi has performed in all kinds of bands all over several states and on national and local TV. Many of these songs have been performed at some point by one of Levi's bands such as Johnny Empire, Tisdale and Envy Drive. Each band performed and created a buzz all their own, but none of these bands ever officially published any of these songs penned by front-man Levi Kitchen. Having written hundreds of songs since his musical debut, Levi pulled from a long list of his own creations and chose some of his favorite songs to recreate from the ground up. Levi played every instrument on this recording and utilized the crowd sourcing technique, allowing many of his friends to sing in the background choir on a few songs. "Try and Stop Me Now" became the most eclectic and divergent song on this album with an interesting blend of spoken word, new age sound and dub-step influence. For this song, Levi recruited fellow songwriter Andrew Beason to do a feature. The following list are people that have contributed to this album in various ways including members of bands that previously played these songs with Levi over the years. Levi would like to thank all of these people for all the help, moral support, inspiration and contribution that is connected with this set of songs. Also note that throughout the album you might hear some of the following people singing or shouting something. In no particular order: Andrew Beason, Lance Kitchen, Alex Wiggins, Lucas Kitchen, Jacob Gardner, Elias & Zenaida, Larry & Laurie Kitchen, Josiah Maars, Chris & Katerina Davis, Luke & Holly Harper, Daniel Proffer, Chad Smith, Toby Teague, Carl & Amanda Mohn, Andy Wingfield, Brian Forbus, Jacob Eaton, Daniel Eaton, Tim Capps, Jordan Presley, Cornerstone, Serenity, Rob Gowin, Robin "Boogie" Butt, Amy Fish, Taylor Heard, Darby Warren, Nick Hutson, Rebecca Friedlander, Daniel Foster, David Hodges, Carol Harden, TK, Jasmine Nyvall, Annaleigh Herrin, Chip Hagler, David & Kathy Sims, Travis Hull, and too many more to name! After the release of "Days of Bliss" Levi is going to immediately get to work on his next album between playing shows around Texas, co-writing songs and providing studio sessions for other artists.
